Data missing? Scan history QR codes

A Logmore QR code is capable of holding a lot of data, but long, data-intensive use may fill a QR code more often than it is scanned. In this case, you will see gaps in measurements when reviewing a Mission on Logmore Cloud.

The data is not lost when a QR code is filled. Instead, old, "full" QR codes are safely stored as history QR codes on the Logmore Guardian.

Here is how you can scan history QR codes and upload missing data to Logmore Cloud.

Quick guide

1. Click the multi-use button twice (an U-shaped button in the corner of the logger). 2. The screen updates, and "History #01" is shown on the screen above the QR code. 3. Scan this history QR code with your smartphone. 4. Click the link that appears on your screen after scanning. Now the data from this history QR code is uploaded to the Cloud. 5. Click the multi-use button once to access the next history code, "History #02." 6. Scan the second code and click the link. Continue until all history QR codes are scanned and uploaded to the Cloud. 7. When there are no more history QR codes left, you will see "End of history. Returning live" screen. Click once to return to the normal view. All missing data is uploaded.

When you have accessed the history view, simply clicking the

once shows the next history page.

πŸ’‘

The QR logger keeps logging even outside the "normal operation view". You can browse the historical QRs without worrying about losing data.

You can return to the normal operation view at any point by long pressing (over 2 seconds) the multi-use button. Otherwise, the logger resumes normal operation view after 3 minutes of inactivity in the history view.

You can recognize the normal operation view from the QR code and the current temperature shown on the logger screen. History screens have the text "History #X" where the temperature value would be shown.

History end screen

Once you've browsed through all the historical QR codes on your QR logger, you'll run into the history end screen β€œEnd of history. Returning live.” If you have scanned all the history QR codes before, it means that all the data is updated.

Any click or press of the

returns you to the normal operation view, where you can repeat the process described on this page to access the history QR codes again as needed.

History QR code notification

After scanning the QR code for the first time, the following notification is shown in the scanner, if history QR codes have been produced.
